I am thankful for all of you who took the time and effort to link this challenge and those of you who replied to it in the comments section.
I am posting the entries for the TPS#36 that was posted on the 7th of April. I plan to give 10 days for you guys to take up the challenge and then link the replies the Saturday after next. This week’s challenge, if you’re interested, can be found here.
Last week’s phrase was –
“The faintest of whiffs…..”
The replies (in no particular order) –
- Elusive Trope – “..of the inspiring air after the days of rain erased those memories, at least for the moment.”
- Jane Dougherty – “…but there could be no doubt—the damn cat had ruined my Turkey carpet.”
- Aadhira – ” and I closed my books for the food awaiting!”
- Ted Giffin – “….were just another olfactory hallucination.”
- Amy Rose – “I was once again siting on my Grandmother’s lap”
- Amy – “… so very far away in memories.”
- William – “and I knew that SHE had entered the room and the hair stood on the nape of my neck ! I was ready. ; )”
- Stevolom – “Can soon snowball into a thunderous calvacade of rotting octopus smell so bad it will literally (LITERALLY) rot the septum out of your nose unless you use new, improved Freshalizer pit spray; guaranteed to eliminate the most fetid and malodorous musty cephalopod stink from even the most hard to reach places.”
- Victo – ” was all it took to awaken her appetite.”
- Neel – “and my attitude towards her turned stiff.”
- Lion Around Writing – “…and yet mingled with her fart, the beautiful babes scent was still unreasonably alluring.”
I have tried to include every entry, but if I have missed someone, please p0int it out in the comments and I’ll say sorry like a nice person and add the missing response. 🙂
