My next visit was to Heidelberg, the very next day. Work would start on the day after that and I knew I wouldn’t get much time for sightseeing. Heidelberg castle was my target but upon reaching there I found out that the tourist centre and most of the city is shut on Sundays. We did find a helpful person at the station information desk and she kindly pointed out the bus routes and timings for the trip to the castle.
This enormous abstract horse gallops right across from Heidelberg Bahnhof, outside the Print Media Academy. It is an interesting composition, though I don’t know why two new moons are riding it, unless it’s the artist’s tongue-in-cheek comment on riders who lean too far forward. 😉
