We took a day-trip to Luzern, courtesy our gracious hosts. The welcome gate is magnificent, though I’m not sure why the chariot on top is facing the other way…
I wanted to go up the peaks badly, but was truly out of luck…… Some peaks further off seemed to mock me…
Snuggled in the mountains, a forest around, a stream behind – this was heaven.

After a little lunch at the Interlaken station, a lovely cevapcici burger, I took the train to Grindelwald. The clouds had started rolling in by this time and were setting the tone for my favourite kind of weather.
I clicked so many places where I could just imagine settling down and living in. I’ve been a city-dweller all my life (even if Chandigarh is one of the few cities in India with adequate lungs).
